We warmly invite you to join us in the mountains to celebrate our wedding and share this special moment together.
In the early afternoon, we meet at the Grindelwald Youth Hostel (Jugendherberge Grindelwald) for group shuttle transport to the venue. The ceremony, apéro and dinner will all be held at the same venue.
The exact departure time from Grindelwald will be confirmed. For the return, the shuttles listed are possible: please note in the reply form which one you’d like to take, and we’ll plan the shuttles accordingly.
Breakfast together at the youth hostel. After check-out, we’ll round off the weekend, with a short hike for anyone who likes, before everyone heads home.
We have organised group transport from Grindelwald to the venue. We meet at the Grindelwald Youth Hostel at around 1 pm. Private cars cannot reach the venue, and there is no accommodation closer to the venue than Grindelwald.
View on mapGrindelwald is easy to reach by train. From Grindelwald station, it takes 10 minutes by bus or 20 minutes on foot to reach the youth hostel. Please note that the walk is steeply uphill.
If you are driving, we have a few parking spots reserved at the hostel. As there are only a few, please let us know in the reply form if you need one.
Children are warmly welcome! A space for afternoon naps is available on site, and baby cots can be arranged at the youth hostel upon request.
We’d love you to dress festively, in something you’ll feel comfortable in all day.
We have pre-reserved rooms of various sizes at the Grindelwald Youth Hostel, mainly for Saturday night and a few for Friday.
Please indicate your accommodation needs on the reply form. If you wish to extend your stay at the youth hostel, note that on the form as well. For bookings elsewhere in the area, we recommend reserving as early as possible, as it is high season.
Because our Saturday schedule overlaps with regular check-in hours, we have arranged to collect keys in advance. Luggage can be stored in the hostel’s lockers.
We are booking through our membership so everyone gets the discounted rate. Because of this, please do not pay the hostel directly. We will reach out to you once the room distribution is set.
